Scaredy-Kat is the title character of a slapstick cartoon series featured in Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron. In each episode, Scaredy-Kat winds his way through a never-ending slew of comically dangerous or frightening misadventures and is known for his trademark bug-eyed shriek.
Chance Furlong thoroughly enjoys the show and sometimes becomes so transfixed by it that he ignores bigger concerns, much to Jake's annoyance. On one occasion, the only thing that was able to pry him off the couch and into action was the news that Callie Briggs was in danger. Jake, for his part, tolerates the show, but does not find it nearly as funny, preferring late-night comedians such as David Litterbin.
